So we won’t bombard you with jargon, rules and regulations, but we enjoy getting our teeth into it. We were pioneers of e-invoicing and helped to develop it. So it goes without saying that we keep a very close eye on new legislation and opportunities. When you say accounting, you’re talking about sensitive information. We take data protection very seriously. That’s why we have ISO 27001 certification and comply with the DORA regulation. In other words, we are compliant with the very strictest international standards for data protection. Nothing happens here without your explicit consent. Automatic back-ups ensure that your invoices stay safe too.

It is 2014. IT entrepreneurs Tom Van Gaever and Michael Demeersseman are sitting at their kitchen table, up to their necks in invoices, receipts and quotes, as frustrated as you can get. “Isn’t there an easier way?” Not yet. So they make an easier way themselves.
In 2016, they introduce the first version of Billit: easy software for digital invoicing. The idea is completely new in the financial world, in Belgium and beyond. That young, pioneering version of Billit is fully fledged now, but it’s still growing. Until every entrepreneur knows it in their bones: “Look, there really is an easier way!”
Everything you see in Billit has been made by our own developers. No obscure software, just a platform we enjoy working on and are enthusiastic about improving and refining. What if you get stuck anyway? Our own, friendly support service answers your questions. There are also the marketeers and HR staff, the thinkers and doers. They all dislike excessive administration, so they want to save you the effort.
Of course we can’t fit more than sixty people into one office. So you’ll find us in Ghent, Sint-Niklaas, Louvain-la-Neuve, Hamburg and New York.
