With this integration, you send invoices (automatically) to Octopus: as direct bookings in the journal, or for processing to the Document Import Viewer. If your entrepreneurs have linked their bank accounts, you can also export CODA files to the financial journal. You can then easily check or process these files in Octopus.
In just a few clicks, you add client files to Billit based on the client file data in Octopus. This imports not only the client file data itself, but also all customer and supplier data from the Octopus client file into Billit, including general ledger accounts. After posting, the booking numbers from Octopus are visible with each document in Billit.
Please note: make sure the Webservice module is active for the client file in Octopus under Beheer > Gebruikers > Rechten > Toegang tot de webservice.
In the accountant portal, you can add new client files in the 'Files' menu using the 'Add from accounting software' button. Then select one or more client files. Complete the e-mail address if necessary. Click 'Add or resynchronise'.
Make sure the Webservice module is active for the client file in Octopus under beheer > gebruikers > rechten > toegang tot de webservice (management > users > rights > access to the web service).
Can't see any client files? Check the integration in Billit via 'Settings', 'Integrations'.
If the company number is already active on Billit, you get a message asking you to link the existing client file. Click the 'Link' button to create the link. The entrepreneur will in turn be asked to confirm this link.
If no login user exists for the company yet, one will be created with the e-mail address provided. In the 'Files' menu, click the 'Send login details' option to activate the account. The entrepreneurs will receive an invitation by e-mail with a login for their entrepreneur account. They can try the entrepreneur platform free of charge for 30 days; after this trial period, they need to choose a pricing plan.
