Connect Billit with Wings (local installation)

With this integration, you can easily import UBL invoices to be processed from Billit into Wings directly, and automatically if you wish, and process them there. If your entrepreneurs have linked their bank accounts to Billit via Billbank or KBC, you can also have the CODA files from their client files exported along with them. Wings correctly reads the UBL invoices that Billit imports and posts them automatically. You can easily create your client files in Billit by importing an Excel file with client file data from Wings.

Please note: this information page is about connecting with a locally installed version of Wings. If you use the cloud version of Wings or a locally installed version with the web service module, click here.

  • 4. Settings per client file
    Down

The BillSync application creates a client file folder for each client file on the PC or server. When exporting from Billit, BillSync writes the document types to these subfolders:

    • 'Sales'
    • 'Purchases'
    • 'Documents'

You can change this default target folder for each of these types. To do so, open the client file you want from the list of client files in the 'Files' menu and click the BillSync tile in the client file's 'Integrations' submenu.

Use the 'Folder name' settings to enter the path you want within the main folder. Example:

    • Client file name\Document type

From now on, the documents will be exported to these folders.

    CODA files

By default, BillSync exports the CODA files of each client file to the 'FinancialTransactions' folder.
