Connect Billit with Yuki

From your accountant account, you can easily link your business owners' Billit client files to Yuki and import the client files into your accounting software at set times (or whenever you want). Yuki reads the UBL invoices imported by Billit correctly, so you can easily process them in Yuki.

  • 3. Settings per client file
    Down

Go to the 'Integrations' submenu that appears when you click a client file in the 'Files' menu, and click 'Available' on the Yuki tile.

Please note: you need a paid Yuki bundle to connect via API. Leave the key empty to set up the connection by e-mail using the fields below.

Entering the API key is optional but offers extra options such as synchronisation of general ledger accounts, customers and suppliers.

You can find the API key in Yuki via Settings > Integrations > Webservice > API key.

On this screen, you can enter the API key of the client file in Yuki. This key is different for each Yuki client file.

Entering the API key offers the following options:

    • Choosing between automatic posting or sending to the digital mailbox
    • Synchronisation of customers and suppliers from Yuki to Billit
    • Synchronisation of the general ledger accounts from Yuki for use in Billit

You can find the API key in Yuki via Settings, Integrations, Webservice, API key.

After pasting the API key, click Save to display the extra options.

Settings available with an API key

If you choose to post to the journal, Billit no longer sends UBL invoices to be processed; instead, entries are created automatically in Yuki. In that case, you must set a default general ledger account.

If you disable this option, you will still need to process the documents manually in Yuki after export.

On this screen, you can also tick that documents and CODA files are sent in addition to the purchases and sales.

Finally, you can optionally have the existing customers and suppliers in Yuki synchronised to Billit.

Then click 'Save' to confirm the settings.

Settings available without an API key

On the screen, enter the e-mail addresses of the mailboxes through which your accounting software imports the different types of documents for that client file. In the 'From' field, enter the e-mail address you want to send the documents from.

Finally, click 'Save' to confirm the settings.
