Why is this message appearing?

This message appears when the supplier has not provided its own visual layout in its PEPPOL invoice.

PEPPOL invoices are primarily electronic, structured documents (XML). They are intended for automatic processing and do not always contain a visual representation that you can view or print.

What does Billit do in this case?

If no layout is available, Billit automatically generates a PDF view based on the data in the PEPPOL invoice.

• Billit uses a standard Billit layout for this purpose.
• This allows you to consult the invoice in a legible and clear manner.
• The notification is added to make it clear that this is a generated view.

Is this PDF an official document?

No.

The generated PDF serves only as a visual representation of the invoice.
The official and legally valid version of the invoice is and remains the PEPPOL invoice itself.
