The assistant says it is not authorised or asks me to log in again.
Your Billit session has expired or the connection was revoked. Open your AI tool's connector settings, reconnect Billit MCP and log in again.
The assistant only sees one of my companies.
Ask it first "Which companies do I have access to in Billit?" and then name the company you want in your question. All companies your login can access are available.
I get an error about too many requests.
The server limits the number of calls per minute. Wait a moment and ask again, or narrow your question so the assistant needs fewer lookups.
Can the assistant create or send an invoice?
Not yet. The Billit MCP is read-only today. Use Billit itself to create, edit or send documents.
Totals for a long period look slow or incomplete.
Aggregations over thousands of documents are worked out by the assistant document by document. Keep the period or filter as narrow as you can, and treat large totals as indicative rather than as your bookkeeping figures.
Can I use it with a tool other than Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot?
In principle, any MCP client that supports remote servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth login can connect to https://mcp.my.billit.eu/. Before it works, however, Billit has to register that tool's OAuth callback URL on our side; otherwise you will not be able to log in. Contact Billit support with the name of the tool and its callback URL. This onboarding process is subject to change.
Questions or something not working? Contact Billit support through your usual channel and mention that you are using the Billit MCP, which AI tool you connected, and the question you asked.
