The German Bundesrat recently cleared the way for the gradual introduction of mandatory structured electronic invoicing.

We sure are proud!  Yesterday, Billit was awarded the title of Trends Gazelle 2024. We achieved a nice 18th place in the ranking of medium-sized companies from East Flanders.

Billit is now a certified service provider for Peppol in Norway. You can now use Billit to send digital invoices to Norwegian customers.

It is now also possible to use Billit to invoice via KSeF. This system will soon be the standard for all invoicing between companies in Poland.

On January 31 and February 1, 2024, Digitalize Wallonia will take place at the Expo in Namur. This fair is entirely dedicated to the digital transformation of companies. Naturally, Billit cannot be missing there as well.

From now on, for every document you send in Billit via Peppol, you will receive notification that it has been successfully delivered to your recipient’s Access Point.

The Belgian national Service Metadata Publisher (SMP), smp.belgium.be, will be discontinued on 1 January 2024. But Billit users will not be affected.

The lecture series on e-invoicing that Thomas Philipp Reiter set up in cooperation with the MSV (SME association of the German-speaking community) in the eastern Belgian towns of Eupen and St. Vith was a hit.

The Belgian Federal Council of Ministers, on the initiative of Finance Minister Vincent Van Peteghem, has approved a preliminary draft law mandating electronic invoicing between companies as of Jan. 1, 2026.
