You can find your user profile by first clicking the arrow next to the users icon in the upper right corner and then 'My profile'.
Our security text messages are sent from the standard short number 8810.
If you're not receiving your codes, it's very likely that this number is being blocked by an automatic spam filter or by your smartphone's security settings.
Here's what to check on your device to resolve the issue:
On iPhone / iOS
Message filtering: Go to Settings > Messages. Scroll down to the Message Filtering section and make sure the 'Filter Unknown Senders' option is turned off.
Blocked contacts: Go to Settings > Messages > Blocked Contacts and check that the number 8810 isn't in the list.
On Android (Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, etc.)
Spam filter: Open your Messages app, tap your profile icon (or the three dots at the top right) > Messages settings > Spam protection (or Block numbers and spam) and temporarily turn off the filter.
Blocked numbers: In the settings of your Phone or Messages app, check the 'Blocked numbers' list to make sure 8810 isn't on it.
App notifications: Go to Phone settings > Apps, select your default messaging app and check that all notifications are allowed.
Developer options: If you've turned on 'Developer options' in your phone's general settings, turn them off temporarily, as they can sometimes block certain secure SMS protocols.
Once you've done these checks:
Try resending the code by going back to Billit: click the profile icon (avatar) at the top right > My profile to restart the verification of your mobile number.
Note: For security reasons and to prevent abuse, the platform limits the number of authentication text messages that can be sent to the same number per day.
Still having problems? If you still don't receive anything after these checks, our technical team will take over. Contact us directly via the 'Help' button at the bottom left of your Billit screen.
