Getting started with Peppol: what is it and how does it work?

What is Peppol?
Is it safe to exchange invoices via Peppol?

Yes, because access to the Peppol network goes through Access Points from certified service providers (like Billit). To get access to such an Access Point, you need to verify your identity. Exchanging documents via Peppol is a lot safer than via email which is very susceptible to invoice fraud and internet crime (such as phishing, malware or ransomware).
