What exactly does mandatory e-invoicing from 2026

As of 1 January 2026 structured structured electronic invoicing will be mandatory for all transactions between Belgian VAT-registered companies (B2B). Invoices must be sent and received via the Peppol network. It will only be possible to deviate from this if both parties agree.
