Connect Billit with DATEV

Thanks to this integration, accountants can easily connect their customers’ files with DATEV. This way, sales invoices, purchase invoices, expense receipts, and documents are automatically uploaded to DATEV using the corresponding document types, which you can configure in the integration settings.

  • 3. Add customer files
    Down

    Inside your accountant portal, open the Files menu and click Add to add a new customer file.

    • If the company number is already active in Billit, you’ll see a message asking you to link the existing file. Click Link to establish the connection. Your client will then be asked to approve the link.
    • If no login user exists yet for the company, one will be added using the provided email address. In the Files menu, click Send login details to activate the account. Clients will receive an invitation to their entrepreneur’s platform. They can try the entrepreneur’s platform for free for 30 days; after this trial period, they will need to choose a subscription plan.
