Connect Billit with DATEV

Thanks to this integration, accountants can easily connect the files of their customers with DATEV. This way, sales and purchase invoices, tickets and documents will automatically be uploaded to DATEV using the corresponding document types, which can be configured in the integration settings.
  • 3. Add customer files

    Within the accountant portal, you can add new client files in the Files menu using the Add button.

    • If the company number is already active in Billit, you will receive a notification asking you to link the existing file. Click Link to establish the connection. The client will then be prompted to approve this link.

    • If no login user exists yet for the company, one will be created using the provided email address. In the Files menu, click Send login details to activate the account. Clients will receive an email invitation with a login for their client portal. They can try the client portal for free for 30 days; after this trial period, they will need to choose a subscription plan.
