What exactly does mandatory e-invoicing from 2026
Who will be subject to mandatory e-invoicing via Peppol?
Why will e-invoicing become mandatory in Belgium?
Is it sufficient to only send invoices via Peppol to comply with the obligation?

The obligation begins on January 1, 2026. If your customer is not ready by then, you, as the sender, may deliver your invoice in a different way. You can include a clause on the invoice urging the recipient to comply. Your customer runs the risk of being penalized.
Are invoices in PDF format still legal?
